                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 509
                   AIRPORT ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   AIRPORT ROAD NORTHEAST OF PINELAWN DRIVE FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 OFFICE ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 509 Airport Road, being on
              the northwest line of Airport Road northeast of Pinelawn
              Drive.  Lot 8 and the east 100 feet of lot 7, block A,
              O.M. Byrd's Addition, as shown by plat of record in deed
              book 827, page 180, being the properties described in
              deed book 827, page 263, R.O.H.C., and deed book 1065,
              page 90, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 158A-A-5 and 7.
             
         from R-1 Residential Zone to O-1 Office Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
